International online workshop ‘Foresight Tools: Evolution and New Approaches’
Оn June 24, 2021, the editorial team of the international journal Foresight and STI Governance (HSE ISSEK) will organise International workshop ‘Foresight Tools: Evolution and New Approaches’.
The workshop will address a wide range of issues related to how Complexity Science helps to solve complex problems of development within new increasingly more complex realities in various areas and enables more efficient strategies by minimizing the likelihood for errors and inaccuracies. In particular, we study new developments in foresight tools, explore new approaches and instruments for futures studies based on the contributions of Complexity Science, and foster the exchange of best practices in their application. Special attention will be paid to the discussion of challenges and trends related to human development in the era of technological transformations.
The event will bring together policy-makers, representatives of government authorities, international organisations, leading research and educational centres of the world, national and international funding agencies, business communities, and others.
Format: online (Microsoft Teams platform). The workshop will be broadcast live on the ISSEK YouTube channel.
