Dr. Dirk Meissner to speak on the role of universities in the digital economy at the opening session of Rosatom’s business programme at EXPO 2020
Оn 17-24 January, 2022 ROSATOM will host ‘Breakthrough Technologies for a Sustainable Future’ week at EXPO 2020 in Dubai, UAE. Its programme will kick off with sessions on adopting a human-centered approach to training and promoting engineering education through international partnerships. It opens with the discussion of Human-Centricity Index along with engineering nuclear education at the inaugural day on January 17.
Leaders and senior experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency, ROSATOM, DP World, the International Organisation of Employers, Singularity University (USA), Khalifa University (UAE), Higher School of Economics (Russia), International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC), as well leading higher educational institutions of Russia, Italy and Great Britain will participate in series of events this day.
Dr. Dirk Meissner, Head of the Laboratory for Economics of Innovation and Academic Supervisor of the HSE ISSEK Master’s programme ‘Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation,’ will speak on ‘The New Role of Universities in the Digital Economy’.
