About conference

Foresight and Science, Technology and Innovation Policy is an annual international academic conference organised by HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK). It was recognized by the OECD as one of the most important global conferences in the field of Foresight and STI policy.

Renowned Russian and international scientists and experts, representing international organisations, governmental agencies, development institutions, companies, foundations, leading research and educational centres in more than 25 countries gathered online for the XI Forum, which run from October 15 to 26, 2021.

The conference participants discussed a broad range of topics concerning S&T Foresight and STI policymaking, examined new approaches and instruments of R&D management, and exchanged best practices of their application.

The conference programme features 17 main sessions and 2 special workshops.
