The workshop will be held 3rd of March 2016 at Higher School of Economics. The discussion is organised under Horizon 2020 project “Enhanced bi-regional science, technology and innovation cooperation between the European Union and the Black Sea Region”.

The workshop aims to discuss and identify pertinent research topics of mutual interest for science, technology and innovation cooperation between the EU member states, Horizon 2020 associated countries and countries of the Black Sea region in the following thematic areas:

• Towards sustainable agriculture based on new technologies and new institutional designs;
• Genetic engineering: future prospects;
• Food security: new challenges for agricultural countries.

Representatives of Russian government authorities, foreign embassies to the Russian Federation, and leading Russian and international research organisations will take part in the event.

The workshop working languages: English and Russian with simultaneous translation.

The workshop venue: Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Myasnitskaya Str., 9/11, room 518.

Time: 10.00—18.00.
