Figure of the day: 53%

of full-time university teachers have several jobs. These data were collected during a survey of teachers at institutions of higher education that was carried out as part of a Monitoring of Education Markets and Organisations study conducted by HSE in collaboration the Levada Centre in 2014 and coordinated by HSE ISSEK.

In recent years, secondary employment of university teachers has gradually fallen; as recently as 2010, the figure was 69%.

The results of the study will be published in an informational newsletter in 2015.
