Figure of the day: 30%

Of Russians aged between 25-64 have higher education. The share of people with higher education increases in younger age groups. This data is presented in the latest HSE ISSEK statistical yearbook “Indicators of Education 2017”.

Among Russians aged between 25-34, 405 people out of every thousand have a university diploma. In the 35-44 age group 336 people out of a thousand graduated from a university. And for those aged between 45-54, the relevant figure is  261 per thousand population.
