Special Workshop on S&T Development of BRICS Countries within 7th Foresight Conference
2 ноября 2017 года в рамках VII Международной научной конференции «Форсайт и научно-техническая и инновационная политика» (Foresight and STI Policy) состоится специальная сессия «Перспективы развития науки и технологий в странах БРИКС».Представители государств БРИКС обсудят направления научно-технологического развития и приоритеты международного сотрудничества. Мероприятие направлено на установление партнерских отношений между научными и образовательными организациями стран – участниц объединения.Сессия проводится во исполнение Ханчжоуской декларации министров науки, технологий и инноваций БРИКС (пункты 8 и 13) и Плана действий в сфере науки и технологий на 2017–2018 годы (параграф 4), призвана способствовать достижению задач, сформулированных в Меморандуме о сотрудничестве в сфере науки, технологий и инноваций между правительствами стран – участниц БРИКС от 18 марта 2015 года (статья 2):формирование стратегической системы для сотрудничества в сфере НТИ между государствами БРИКС;поиск ответов на общие глобальные и региональные социально-экономические вызовы в странах БРИКС с использованием совместного опыта и взаимодополняющих возможностей в сфере науки, технологий и инноваций;совместное получение новых знаний и создание инновационных продуктов и услуг с использованием соответствующих механизмов финансирования и инвестиций;содействие партнерским отношениям участников БРИКС с другими стратегическими партнерами развивающегося мира в сфере НТИ.
On November 2, 2017, a special workshop "Perspectives of Science and Technology in BRICS Countries" will take place in the framework of 7th Annual International Academic Conference "Foresight and STI Policy".
Representatives of BRICS countries will examine trends of S&T development in BRICS states and identify priorities for international S&T cooperation based on mutual interest and available competences. The workshop also aims to promote new partnerships between scientific and organisational institutions of BRICS member states.
The workshop is organised in accordance with BRICS Action Plan 2017–2018 (paragraph 4), revised and adopted by the BRICS Hangzhou Declaration (articles 8 and 13) signed at the 5th BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Ministerial Meeting on July 18, 2017, and aims to contribute to the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation between the governments of the BRICS countries signed on March 18, 2015 (Article 2):
- to establish a strategic framework for cooperation in STI amongst the BRICS member countries;
- to address common global and regional socio-economic challenges in the BRICS member countries utilizing shared experiences and complementarities in STI;
- to co-generate new knowledge and innovative products, services and processes in the BRICS member countries utilizing appropriate funding and investment instruments;
- to promote, where appropriate, joint BRICS STI partnerships with other strategic actors in the developing world.
