HSE top management re-elected

On 28 May, the RF prime minister Dmitry Medvedev signed regulation appointing Yaroslav Kuzminov the NRU HSE rector for the next five-year period. On 30 May, at a meeting of the Academic Council, the rector confirmed appointment of the university’s top management. Yevgeny Yasin was re-elected as HSE academic supervisor, and Alexander Shokhin – as president. The ISSEK director Leonid Gokhberg was confirmed as first vice-rector.

As the HSE first vice-rector, professor Leonid Gokhberg supervises the university’s research (except basic research), innovation and expert analysis activities in the field of STI development, foresight studies, and national statistics.

Vadim Radayev, Alexander Shamrin, and Lev Yakobson were also confirmed as HSE’s first vice-rectors. Also, at the same meeting of the Academic Council Viacheslav Bashev, Alexei Novoseltsev, Sergei Roschin, and Maria Yudkevich were appointed as vice-rectors, and Valery Zusman – as director of HSE’s Nizhniy Novgorod campus.
