The Chinese economy is showing outstanding economic performance for long time now. This success can at least partially attributed to the well thought National Chinese Innovation strategy. China is thereby also taking advantage of the ever globalised science, research and innovation sphere. Among many measures China has concluded many bilateral agreements to even boost its innovation performance further. Recently an agreement with Skolkovo has been concluded. Prof. Xue Lan will present the Chinese approach towards a national innovation strategy and the potentials from globalization.
