International seminar “Bromley Memorial Event” on the Science, Technology and Innovation policy

The seminar was organized by the  University of Ottawa (Canada) on 17 May 2012. It  covered national specificities and best practices of the contemporary STI policy.

Research fellows of the HSE Research Laboratory for Economics of Innovation and Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies Dirk Meissner, Stanislav Zaichenko and Vitaliy Roud  participated in the International seminar “Bromley Memorial Event” on the Science, Technology and Innovation policy hosted by the University of Ottawa, Canada, 17 May 2012. The seminar covered national specificities and best practices of the contemporary STI policy. The discussion united researchers from 14 countries, including Canada, USA, UK, France, Germany, Israel, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Korea, India, South Africa, Mexico and Russia. Central spokesman was William Bonvillian, director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Washington D. C. Office with the speech “Bringing Advanced Innovation to The Manufacturing Sector”. The laboratory researchers presented the analysis of recent trends and perspectives of the state innovation policy and the characteristics of R&D sector in Russia.
