Technology Platforms as a Technology and a Platform for International Cooperation

Technology platforms, which allow participants to allocate resources invested in value chains more sensibly and efficiently, is a relatively new STI policy tool. It was originally designed in the early 2000s in Europe and then, following its successful application, adopted in Russia. On 20 May, prospects for cooperation between Russian and European technology platforms were discussed at Higher School of Economics.

These results were reported by HSE ISSEK research group guided by Konstantin Fursov following another wave of the Monitoring Survey of Innovative Behavior of the Population, which covered 1,575 Russian citizens ages 16—74 in late 2013.

Interdisciplinary Research in the Greater Field of Innovation Management: the Experience of Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg

On May 22, 2014, HSE hosted an open workshop of Michael Nippa, professor ofManagement, Leadership, and Human Resources at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg. Experts at the HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge made these calculations based on the results of a survey of 600 directors of knowledge industry companies in 2013 conducted by HSE as part of the Monitoring the Knowledge Industry Sector research project in the Fundamental Research programme.

Innovation in BRICS countries

Studying and forecasting development of this international association created in 2006 was important right from the beginning. For 8 years ISSEK has been participating in the international project on studying specific features of BRICS countries’ national innovation systems (NIS).
